About Us

Built by Somali women, accountable to Somali girls

Ardo Thriving Hub began as a small circle of mentors in Hargeisa responding to girls who were dropping out of school. Today we run national digital protection services, a local reusable-pad production line and mentorship hubs across IDP settlements.

We work with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, UNICEF, telecom partners and local elders — because norms change fastest when the people who hold them lead the conversation.

Mission, Vision & Values

Our Mission

To ensure every Somali woman and girl can learn, decide and lead in safety — through protection services, health rights education and climate-smart livelihoods.

Our Vision

A Somalia where no girl misses school because of her period, her safety or her circumstances.

Our Values

Community-first design, local manufacturing, and partnerships with ministries, telecoms and UN agencies so services outlast any single grant.
